John Hernandez
PIANO INSTRUCTOR
John Hernandez graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Piano performance, University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley, with the highest honor of Summa Cum Laude (2022).
Mr. Hernandez’s performance experience includes gala performance at the Bert Ogden Arena in McAllen TX, and masterclass performances with world-class artists including Kevin Kenner (Warsaw Chopin Competition Winner), and Magdalena Bczewska (Yamaha Concert Artist).
Mr. Hernandez is also a recipient of the Graduate Teaching Assistantship Award from UTRGV School of Music (Fall, 2022). At the 2021 MTNA conference, Mr. Hernandez has presented his own pedagogical method book, and has received many compliments from the piano teachers around the nation. Mr. Hernandez is also requested seasonally to accompany musical performances, and courses at institutes like South Texas College, and Sharyland Pioneer High School. Mr. Hernandez is also a sought-after private piano teacher in the Rio Grande Valley.
